Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

 

2½ lbs bone-in or boneless chicken thighs

 

Salt & black pepper, to taste

 

1 tsp paprika

 

1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

 

Lemon Garlic Sauce

 

¼ cup fresh lemon juice

 

Zest of 1 lemon

 

5 cloves garlic, minced

 

½ cup chicken broth

 

2 tbsp olive oil

 

1 tbsp honey (optional, for balance)

 

👩‍🍳 Instructions

 

1️⃣ Season chicken

Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.

Place them in the slow cooker.

 

2️⃣ Make sauce

In a bowl, whisk lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, broth, olive oil, and honey.

 

3️⃣ Cook

Pour sauce over chicken.

Cover and cook:

 

LOW: 6–7 hours

 

HIGH: 3–4 hours

 

Chicken should be tender and juicy.

 

4️⃣ Optional golden finish

Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and broil 3–5 minutes until lightly browned.
